Swimming Data

Year 6 cohort 2020-2021:

• 27 pupils in the class
• 64% swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
  • 25m front, back & breast stroke: 25%
  • 25m front & back stroke: 29%
  • 10m front & back stroke only: 64%
• Rescue:
  • Treading water and collecting brick: 79%
    • Brick only: 79%
    • Treading water only: 79% 

Year 6 cohort 2019-2020:

• 29 pupils in the class
• 71% swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
  • 25m front, back & breast stroke: 17%
  • 25m front & back stroke: 42%
  • 10m front & back stroke only: 92%
• Rescue:
  • treading water and collecting brick: 82%
    •  brick only: 88%
    • treading water only: 92%

Year 6 cohort 2018-2019:

• 27 pupils in the class
• 81% swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metre
• 52% use a range of strokes effectively
• 41% Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.

• 66% swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metre
  • 25m front, back & breast stroke: 3%
  • 25m front & back stroke: 45%
